| Summary | 0000739: Dressups nested multiple layers deep don't update immediately | ||||
| Description | The behavior of nested dressups was recently improved. Before, nesting dressups past two layers didn't really work at all. Now it does work, however, the appearance only updates when viewing a surface at a deeper level of nesting. I'll attach a gif demonstrating this, as well as the nar of the shell used for testing. The shell has a dressup for a jacket (layer 1), buttons that can go on the jacket (layer 2), and different colors for each of the buttons (layer 3). When the jacket or the buttons are toggled on and off, the display updates immediately. When the colors of the buttons are changed, the display does not update until I change to surface100, which is the surface of the jacket. At that moment, all of the button color dressups update, and when I go back to surface0 the full display is shown correctly. So it *is* possible to see and change dressups at the third layer... but you have to briefly switch to a surface on which the button colors are only a second layer deep to make the display update. If it's possible to improve this, it would be nice. (However, I think shells with this many layers of nesting are rare, so I understand if you are not concerned with supporting this!)
