| Summary | 0000738: In a multi-display environment, the input box always opens on the rightmost display | ||||
| Description | In an environment with multiple displays, input boxes will always be opened on the rightmost display. Even if the character is moved to another display, the input box always opens on the rightmost display. It seems that the input box position is also initialized to the left edge of the rightmost display the first time that it is opened. Additionally, if you open the input box, drag it to another display, then close and reopen it, it will appear on the left edge of the rightmost display again. I attached a gif demonstrating this behavior. The window on the left side of the gif is on the center monitor, and the background on the right side of the gif is the rightmost monitor. This behavior seems to have started in SSP 2.7.20. I am testing in a Windows 11 environment with 3 displays. I received word from another user that they are having the same issue with input boxes appearing only on the rightmost display, so I do not believe it is a problem unique to my setup. (I can give further details about my specific setup if needed, though.) SSP/2.7.43 (20260122-14; Windows NT 10.0.26100) | ||||
