Summary | 0000475: Random numbers showing up in error log
Description | Since a recent SSP update, there have been random numbers showing up in the error log, marked as [SYSTEM]. I don't know what they are, and they're not really causing a problem, but I also have no idea what they mean and thought they were strange. I know someone else who reported seeing these too, so it's not just me.

Please make sure language pack is latest one. This random number is portion of "similar log repeat" message. |

Did the english pack update automatically with the last SSP update? I'm getting normal "similar log repeat" messages now. I'm not sure if they were working before. I'll keep an eye out. I did notice something odd while I was testing. I put a bad embedded string into script input to generate error messages, and every time I ran it the number of the "similar log repeat" would go up by dozens, then hundreds, then thousands, until I eventually hit some sort of limit at 500490. No one is reasonably going to hit that number, but I do think it was odd that it was jumping up by so much when it should have been 1 or 2 at a time. .......This is a bit ridiculous, isn't it |
