The following code is in OnTranslate:
```
OnTranslate
if reference1 == "" && reference2 == "" //If this is from the input box
{ //send input box : no event (ref2) , no special flag (ref1)
With the current z-order settings, this does not work, or would be too taxing, as it may be necessary to specify the z-order for dozens of characters at once.
Would it be possible to add a new z-order option to specify that a single character should be in the back, or in the front? Something like...
seriko.zorderex,0,front
or
seriko.zorder0,back
In the case of this ghost, the sakura character would benefit from being always in the back, with typically 10 other characters in front of it: https://github.com/Zichqec/gallery_512/releases/latest/
As ghost continues to change in development, the result of trying to accommodate upgrades will be that delete.txt keeps getting bigger.
If ghost goes through several iterations of huge changes, the size of delete.txt will be ugly and difficult to maintain.
e.g. https://github.com/Taromati2/stable-mirror/blob/master/Taromati2/delete0.txt
The difficulties encountered during ghost development would be much less if we introduced another way of removing redundant files: create a whitelist file in the ghost directory indicating which files or directories should not be deleted, and together with the contents of the files provided in updates.txt, construct a "files that should not be deleted after update" list and then iterate through the files under ghost to delete the rest.
This is slow, but the ghost developer can delete and modify the file structure at will without having to maintain delete.txt, so I thought it might be nice
0000575: Vertical Menu Spacing option makes text unreadable when set to higher numbers
I think this option is probably not working as intended. https://github.com/Taromati2/ghost/commit/6383192acff890161bf1525a4a7674aeb283b3bd
Overall the feature is perfect, there are just some small details that need to be optimized
1.
As you can see, my "random mechanism" has a one in four chance of executing an animation every second, but in testing this has resulted in OnSurfaceRestore no longer being triggered, and I'm thinking of either making the icon animation not affect the OnSurfaceRestore countdown, or adding native random support as with shell animations
2.
This is not very important, but it would probably be better to script the icon animation in text: in the wink animation I only used one new clip (the overframe with the eyes open and closed), but I needed to repeat these frames 4 times to represent the animation sequence, haha, and the result was that the blink animation took up 1mb of space
That's all, thanks for the update to make the icon animation easier to implement!
0000548: Extra character balloons can't be dismissed from balloon test mode
I used my ghost to help me with testing a balloon that had several characters, and now when I turn on balloon test mode for him, he will always open up 9 balloons. One of the biggest problems I run into when making complicated shells is trying to pick good number ranges for my surfaces. I often end up with numbers that are 6 or 7 digits long so that I can keep everything sorted. If it were possible to name them with letters and underscores, as I do with my image files, I could avoid that trouble altogether and have more easily understood surfaces.
This isn't the same as surface alias; I'm combining elements in surfaces to use as parts for animations and dressups, mostly.
without anyone being in a hurry, so feel free & enjoy your time
For homeurl override installations, the override process can be optimised to specify the homeurl's network updates
For network updates, the following areas can be optimized:
Check for duplicate files before each download (see below for the scope of the check), and for files with the same md5 and size, skip the download and copy and paste directly after verifying that the source file is correct
Check ranges:
For ghost: all other ghost files are checked
Reason: there is a high probability of duplicate files related to shiori or saori
For shell: all shell files of the same ghost are checked
Reason: high possibility of duplication of shell files
For plugins: all other plugins and ghost files are checked
Reason: some plugins use shiori as kernel
0000253: narpng
Well, the thing is, I'm playing a Japanese game recently. This game can share your favorite homemade characters through PNG "character card"
In fact, the role information is attached to the end of the PNG file. The whole "role card" is a small archive file that stores the character's info
I wonder if ghost can be shared like this?
It is feasible to attach a zip file after a PNG file. You can easily open the file in the form of a compressed package by changing the suffix name to zip. Therefore, if we specify a special file suffix, such as ".nar.png", or check the additional content every time SSP processes the image file, we can express the NAR in the form of a picture
Maybe we can be more aggressive and save ghost's homeurl to the picture, so that the volume is smaller and the function is not affected
0000392: Expand Balloon Test Mode
With the recent additions to balloons, it would be nice to eventually expand balloon test mode.
Options to choose which character's balloons will be tested would be helpful. A lot of the time I only make a balloon for a single character, so the kero's balloon just gets in the way. And with the new balloons for \p[2] and others, it would be nice if you could choose to include those balloons while in test mode.
I think it would also be helpful to show a little default text in addition to the numbers, which could show the colors of menu choices, anchors, and the disable color. These are the things I most often want to see when testing my balloons. Showing what the choice markers look like would be helpful as well, especially since each character can have their own now...
Finally, the first part of balloon test mode always uses b0/b1. I think it would be great if you could choose which balloon you wanted it to use, so that you can test larger sizes and see the number of rows and such.
Sometimes it can be difficult to place them just right, though. Mouse sensitivity, the amount of extra transparent space on the ghost's surfaces, and other factors can make it difficult for some users. And sometimes, you may not want them to stick at all.
I think it could be helpful to add a slider in the SSP preferences that lets you choose how many pixels away ghosts have to be from an edge before they will stick, and also allow you to disable sticking completely by setting it to 0.
I am aware that there is already an option you can set for each ghost to make them stick to the taskbar all the time, but this is not desirable in certain cases.
0000301: Allow balloon and shell to have custom dlls to draw the interface
Related：http://ssp.shillest.net/bts/view.php?id=183
Some people want to use l2d in ukagaka, others want to use u3d, but this is difficult to achieve with the current ukagaka architecture
My suggestion is to make the existing shell and balloon drawing mechanism that comes with ssp a dll file and make a series of communication protocols
Then use ssp's own drawer when a shell or balloon does not have a custom drawer, and use the drawer provided by the shell or ballon when the shell or balloon does have
I think it makes sense to allow a shell or a balloon to organize its own file structure
0000288: New event: rate of use graph within one week
It was nice for ghost to be able to get an aggregate rate of use graph, but this seems hardly useful for identifying ghost usage over time
Ideally ghost would be able to retrieve as much recent ghost usage as needed (anywhere from a week to a month), but I find this difficult to design and unrealistic
0000247: Some suggestions for speech recognition
I just came into contact with SSP's speech recognition today. It's really a great function
Here are some suggestions. Supporting these may make it better
1. New speech recognition mode
Conversational speech recognition is a function that can improve the user experience. When speech recognition starts, the software sends a prompt tone to indicate the beginning of speech recognition, and plays another prompt tone after this conversation, and then processes it
2. Turn on or off the speech recognition function through Sakura script
Ghost can provide a switch!
3. Voice wake-up
Allow ghost to set specific voice keywords to enter a function - whether ghost is in a conversation or standing in a daze
4. Hidden voice options
Provide a sakura script to add options for speech recognition: for example, I want to use the three keywords "single cycle", "list cycle" and "sequential play" in the speech recognition of the music player, but this is very useful when I only want to provide one mode button in the UI interface
5. option but not in speech recognition
There are some options I don't want it to be voice recognized, but I want to provide such buttons in the UI
6. When the options provided by the current entity are not matched, the options of other roles are matched
When both roles of a ghost open the UI, I want to consider another UI after my current statement does not match the UI button provided by the current subject
